We sailed up to Kortula yesterday afternoon. We spent the late afternoon anchored in a bay outside a monastery.
Then along with 10 Sail Croatia boats loaded with Aussies we made our way to Kortula town on the island of the same name. Famous as the home of Marco Polo, the old walled town is very beautiful.
As you can see we scurried up the bell tower for the view. Spectacular.
Other than the usual day to day life we do have a couple of casualties on board. Roger has developed a horrible cold and every stop means a visit to the chemist for more pills.
And Francis slipped as he stepped out of the dinghy onto the back of the boat. Very funny and luckily no phones involved, just wet clothes. But his outer thigh has taken a bang and a haematoma has formed. Only small – Arnica, massage and movement applied!
It had nothing to do with the 2 aperols, 3 beers, home made schnapps!!! And slip on shoes- slip off more likely. Anyway he’s fine and Laurie and I are unscathed and undeterred.

You two sickos!!! Truly disgusting pictures with commentary designed only to provoke envy! It is 9 degrees C here day after day and shorts and thongs are just obscene!
BTW – did you have any chance to explore island of Mljet – the two inland lakes and tiny island on one of those lakes?
Greetings from Allie (she is nicer than I am!)
Mario
We are heading back there in a couple of weeks so we shall explore. X
