We came down the Lefkada channel last night as it was apparent that the weather was going to ‘pack in’.
It has been windless and 30 every day but the next 2 days 30 knots of wind, some rain and 27.
We stopped at Niddrie for provisions – ie bakery – and then headed out to Meganisi. There are charter boats everywhere and we are all trying to find a quiet safe berth out of the wind.
This place – Porto Spilias – we have been to before. The owner is Italian and well organized. Boat boys push the boats into the right ace with their rubber dinghies. It makes it very easy.
