We left Serifos very early as we had a long way to go.
We were hoping for no wind mainly as we are traveling against the Northerly that blows at this time.
So there was a little wind, 7 knots or so and there was a huge swell.
The first 5 hours of an 8 hour trip were like being on a slow motion roller coaster. It becomes so constant that you just have to squeeze in to a corner and stay put.
Once we rounded the Northerly tip of Idhra it changed to calm like a lake.
The island mostly looks barren and dry and then you come to a small opening which brings you into a very small harbour.
We got s spot on the quay – 4 steps to get a coffee!
It’s a beautiful day and we will head off for an explore.

It is poss. And still deadly on the fingers. It does look like its time is running out.
