After 10 hours yesterday we reached Kastellorizo.
We were greeted like long lost friends.
It was so nice to be back there in the green clear water.
A swim was the first thing we did.
Now we continue westwards. This stretch of the coast has Seven Capes with Cold Water Bay at the top.
We shall see how far we get – perhaps into the Gocek Korfezi – we’ll see.
The winds are light this morning – only 3 knots and on the nose, so motoring for this first part of the day.
It’s a little hazy, there is plenty of moisture in the air and whilst the sun is quite warm already the breeze is making things cool.
4 pm and we are safely tied up to the rocks in Cold Water Bay.
Last time we were here the bay was too full and we had to anchor around the corner but today it is relatively quiet.
The icecream sellers are here. They whizz around in small speedboats and sell magnums to unsuspecting tourists. Once the icecream is in their mouth they find the price – 5 Euros!! That’s about $8. The ladies next door to us got quite cross at being ripped off. I do remember it happened to us 8 years ago and I have to say the price has not changed.

Hi guys, photos are really great and we are enjoying following your journey! Hope you have nice wind (not too much though!) – keep posting!
Cheers,
Mario and Allie
There’s no doubt you would love it here. Lots of great places to go and safe Port Philip bay can be far worse. We seem to have a high pressure trough the last few days which has elevated the temps and dropped the wind. The sea is glassy and silver blue. We only have a couple more days on the boat so hopefully we get some wind and some sailing in. See you soon. J&R
