Gumusluk

How cute is this place! Tiny little stone cottages on the water. Little tavernas along the edge with umbrellas and awnings. Bougainvillea and oleander are in full flower. In the lane behind the cottages are the markets. Rog went this morning and brought freshly baked bread – each baker makes his own on site – and freshly picked strawberries.
There are glassblowers there, soap makers and painters, beads galore. So colorful.
It’s nice and quiet too. A sleepy hamlet.
As always here, once the sun comes down everyone comes out to walk and talk and eat. During the day people just generally go about their business and nighttime they relax.
