We ‘motor sailed’ back to Sicily very successfully. With current assist and and a great day we averaged 9 knots – very fast! We crossed the highway of tankers and dodged the fishing boats 😂 it’s quite amazing how in the middle of so much space a boat is right in your path.

There are 5 temples still intact in the Valley. Dating back to the 4th century BC and built by the Greeks they show us how extraordinary life was then.

We explored around Agrigento with the piece de résistance being the Cathedral on top of the town – San Gerlando.

Hi guys, it looks as though you are having the most amazing time!! Loving the photos and learning from you Jane – your knowledge is amazing!! The boat looks wonderful – totally organise of course and it seems you have had good weather and lots of fabulous ports and side trips.
We are now in Marina di Marittima at THAT house which according to another agent “everyone knows it can never be sold”!! Only in Italy!! 🤣. Anyway, it is great, certainly has a few challenges (leaving the illegalities aside!😆) but really is a gorgeous place in a stunning setting! Here for another week and then off to Maria di Leuca for another week.
The boat in Turkey was amazing and really loved being on the water there onboard a stunning Gulet with fabulous people, stunning coast and water, great food and wine … what more does one need???
Ostuni was lovely for a week including a friends flash 60th – lovely, but, argh!! hard to put heels on!!
Anyway here are a few snaps! Travel safely and thanks for all your lovely stories!!
💕
Hard to get out of bed with a view like this …
But not always perfect!! Won’t send the video but know you will understand!!
Even a BBQ!!

Hi Alex – the holiday continues for us all – how lucky we are. Even to be away from the heat that seems to be surrounding us.
My cousin is getting off on Thursday and back to the UK which will probably be sweltering – and we are off up the West Coast. Caloforte our first stop after Cagliari. It’s fabulous here too and nice to spend some time ‘in town’ Mark must be heading home soon and you – off to CT? Xx
