From Roma to Giglio

The boys at the Blue Dolphin worked all day to help us get the sails back on, new sheets (ropes) threaded and all is done.

The duckboard has been lowered and no sooner was it down that this family started checking it out.

We are ready to go. Next stop is Giglio, the start of the Tuscan Islands

We have Lee and Pete on board with us which is a blessing. Pete is a very experienced sailor and it’s great to have his help and their company while we learn all about Marley 2.

While she is similar to Pankina, she’s bigger, the ropes are longer, bigger and many more. We will get the hang of it 😊

Giglio, most famous as the site of the Costa Concordia disaster. And when you see the place you can’t believe that it ever happened.

Lucky in one way as they could practically walk into the beach 50 metres away.

The island is beautiful, colourful and s large Castello that is still a living village.

Lovely to be anchored and swimming.

We leave later tomorrow for Elba.

  1. Is it so vey hot like Spai and France? You will have to change your header pic with a dramatic shot of Marley 2
