Before we get to the boat we have had 8 days in the UK seeing Tom and Bec in London, driving North to Felixstowe to see family and then further north to Stockton to see more family and meet up with mum and dad.
We have had fun, arguments, some sad moments and some bizarre ones.
The weather has outdone itself on all fronts luckily.
We have walked and walked, eaten pub meals – last night was my first salad for a week!
The number of people everywhere is phenomenal- summer holidays in full swing

The Walkie Talkie in London. We are in the Shard on the opposite bank having a drink in the bar and viewing

Primrose Hill – Bec and Tom's local and favourite park to walk

Felixstowe- looking over the Deben after Sunday lunch

Family waiting for Dad to get the camera poised on a tower of furniture for a group shot

All things English – the greens are stunning, the Yorkshire Moors beautiful and a day at Whitby

Thornton Le Dale, York and Helmsley. And some time at the bird centre holding Henrietta
Rog has done most of the driving so far – we have all learnt to listen to 'Her' as she navigates us through the Moors. The first day was not so successful with many voices and many wrong turns.
Today we head up to Newcastle and fly out early tomorrow to Corfu.
Bye for now
DAD WAS ALLOWED TO DRIVE?!
He did very well
