We picked up Alex and Roberta from Corfu Airport on Sunday afternoon. They flew in from Venice and had hot footed it around the Biennale. Time for rest now.
Here are some photos of Corfu Town at Sunset. It is s beautiful old town, faded and romantic. At sunset the swallows swoop and dive in their thousands around the rooftops.

On Monday we sailed down to Paxos and headed into Lakka again. It’s hard to beat as an anchorage and a swimming spot. We are going to stay here s few days – the forecast keeps changing and any bad weather that looked possible keeps moving further away. Every day has been sunny and warm. We have been for a few walks, read a few books, swum, supped, eaten, slept and of course wi-fied. The kitchen that hopefully would be complete on our return has been held up by an incorrect appliance and a longer delivery date. Oh well – it happens.

The bougainvilleas and jacarandas are in full bloom everywhere. This white one is huge and much admired by everyone.
