Sun one minute black clouds thunder lightening and wind the next.
We did not have far to go luckily and quietly made our way to Houvia Marina near Corfu town. Some boats not do lucky – shredded sails and jammed gear.
There was a queue waiting to be berthed which included 2 other Australian boats.

Friday we hired a car and took a drive the next day around the north end of the island.
Palaiokastritsa, Sidari, Pantokratoras and Spartilas. Small roads, great views and in the end – blue sky.

We leave today , Saturday – heading south.
And a great day of sailing – we are anchored in Lakka. This time only a scattering of boats and a perfect end of day. Tomorrow the wind is due to change to a northerly and we are planning to sail down the west coast of Lefkada and into Vasiliki.
