We have our new crew on board.
While Lisa is an old hand on yachts it is an unknown experience for Graham and Lauren.
We have chosen to head for Fiskardo as it offers a great town and nice swimming.
We got here about 4pm to find it chock a block with yachts. All that was feasible as an anchor on the north east edge with stern lines ashore. There was quite a swell but no wind – yet!
Lee and Pete – we had dinner at Tassio’s restaurant – very yummy.
So we woke to the sounds of the boat next to us leaving, or trying to – an south easterly around 15 knots – a broken stern line, boat pile up further down the queue as anchors had dragged and a domino effect had taken place.
We were fine luckily but it was action stations as we had to move and fast. Then Rog zoomed off to use the rubber dinghy to get the other boats out of their fix.
Lots of spectators, lots of inexperienced sailors on charter boars with no idea. And in the end all resolved – no damage.
Now the sun is out, the wind has dropped and life returns to normal.

mum or Lisa? who knows when wearing striped tops
It must have been an early start for Lisa, Graham, and Lauren, as It looks like Graham didn’t even have time to get changed out of his pyjama pants.
