We drove today 500 kms into the mountains to Goreme in Cappodocia.
Having come up initially through big mountain passes we came onto a plateau of mining and farming land.
Then over more mountains and into the fairyland of Cappodocia.
More photos to come but these ones show the plateau and then the little guesthouse – cave house we are staying in.
This place is a photographers goldmine. For those of you who loved Star Wars – you would recognize some of the scenery.
