We arrived here at 700pm. Latest so far so you can tell we are relaxing . Tom is now in Rhodes meeting his mates so it’s down to 5 . We stayed at Finike last night and thought we had arrived at the edge …. Hot, flat, no real old village and no tourist traffic. Good and bad of course . As we were in a marina with concrete jetties and breakwaters we had the best nights sleep so far .the heat is getting a bit much now it’s July , however last night was beautifull . And today we found out why . We headed out for a 45 nmile trip 6hrs nice 10 knot breeze from the southwest around the cape then 20 knots straight from the north for 40 mins then lightening off to a pleasant 15 knots when we finally got the sails up and finally took in the scenery. 3000 m high Mt Olympus presiding over the whole landscape .huge country ,cyrus trees, broad beaches and steep cliffs… Dramatic and a complete surprise . Tonight the breeze went completely and the marina is a great little place … All at din dins now …. Have to go …. Kebabs await
